Terms of Service

Cookbook helps you turn brand context into portable, reviewable marketing workflows.

Effective September 19, 2026 · Last updated September 19, 2026

1. The service

Cookbook.to ("Cookbook," "we," "us," or "our") provides an interactive brand Pantry builder, recipe catalog, and related digital services (the "Platform"). Recipes are structured prompt contracts, skills, and brand-context generators designed to run across third-party AI models, development environments, and agents, including Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Copilot.

Recipes are read-only and exploratory. Cookbook does not publish content, change ad spend, push code, or mutate your external production systems. You are the executive chef: you must review, fact-check, and approve every output before using or distributing it.

2. Accounts and access

You may browse parts of the catalog without an account. Saving a Pantry or using sync features requires registration through our authentication partner, Supabase. Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding agreement for yourself or your organization.

3. Ownership

Cookbook owns or licenses the Site, software, branding, design system, tools, documentation, and curated structure of the public recipe catalog. You retain all rights in your brand assets, transcripts, data, URLs, and customized COOKBOOK.md files (your "Pantry Data"). As between you and Cookbook, marketing deliverables generated from your inputs belong to you, subject to the terms of the third-party model provider you use.

When you provide a URL or brand input, you grant Cookbook a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to parse and format that content only to deliver your requested cookbook and skill specifications.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Platform to create unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, or harassing content; submit confidential interviews or personal information without consent or anonymization; reverse engineer the Platform; scrape or automate queries outside documented APIs and exports; or misrepresent AI-generated work where disclosure is legally required.

5. Third-party AI services

Cookbook does not control or guarantee the uptime, performance, terms, or safety controls of Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or other third-party services. We make no warranty that model outputs are accurate, original, complete, or legally compliant. Models can hallucinate, miss context, or repeat public-domain tropes.

6. Liability

7. Changes and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Legal inquiries: support@cookbook.to. For product architecture, visit the Documentation Hub.
